Dr K.S. Patel
An alumnus of M. P. Shah Medical College Jamnagar, Dr K.S. Patel always had a keen interest in G.I. surgery, which took him to the U.K., where he worked at the Digestive Disease Center at Leeds General Infirmary, Leeds, U.K. He is currently serving as Director of the Department of Surgical Gastroenterology at the Kaizen Hospital Institute of Gastroenterology and Research Centre, Ahmedabad.
He is interested in HPB surgery and has extensive experience in complex surgeries like liver resection, surgery of bile duct injuries, and shunt surgery. He has conducted surgery for chronic & acute pancreatitis on many patients. He was recently awarded a fellowship at Kings College Hospital, London, in the Department of HPB Surgery & Liver Transplantation.
